About the Author

Ian was born in Albany, Western Australia, in November 1971. Despite numerous travels, he still lives on the south coast (and in a world of his own) with his golden retreiver Sinner and loves indulging in his passions of Australian Rules Football, cooking national emblems on the barbecue and vodka with absinthe chasers.

An extract from the book

A Volcano in Costa Rica
Volcano Arenal in Costa Rica

" After the jungle walk the group were ferried back to the lookout just in time to see lava crashing down the volcano. It was a sight, like perfect waves or breasts, that Teddy would never tire of. Gem was even worse. She thought the volcano phallic and thus the lava…she could almost taste it. Watching this amazing scene was possibly the best foreplay she had ever experienced.

The couple slipped off into the bushes behind the group and Gem, not interested in further foreplay, experienced intense multiple orgasms. There she was in the bush near a group of strangers, making love to Teddy while watching lava steadily flow from the volcano. It was all her fetishes combined at once.

The fear of being caught, the rush of outdoors sex and her bizarre fascination with lava turning her momentarily into a nymphomaniac." Ian Beeck

Chasing the Green Fairy
The Author on Absinthe

Containing psychoactive substances, Absinthe has been banned since the 1920's, but is now making a comeback. It was made famous by legendary painter Vincent Van Gogh, cutting off his ear while under the effects of Absinthe.

Absinthe has been used by legends in the past such as Baudelaire, Verlaine and Rimbaud to stimulate creativity. In the Algarve of Portugal, it was used by legends Macca, Billy and Jonesy and stimulated arm-in-arm sing-a-longs to AC/DC.

The classic method of drinking Absinthe was pouring cold water over a slotted spoon containing sugar into a glass of the lethal brew. As the water hits the Absinthe, the oils precipitate out and the drink changes from a clear emerald colour, due to the presence of chlorophyll, to an opaque, milky white.

The method is popular for people who have just lost their Absinthe virginity for about a week, trying to act all cool and knowledgeable, before resorting back to straight shots to expedite the hallucinogenic trip.
